What does AI lead generation actually mean for a local business?
For a plumber or a salon it means two things and not much else: being findable when somebody needs you, and catching the inquiry the moment it happens. The AI part is that the website, the service pages and the quote forms are written for you from three answers rather than briefed to an agency over six weeks.
It does not mean buying leads. There is no lead marketplace here, no shared inquiries sold to four businesses at once, and no cost per lead — the inquiries are yours because they came to your own website.

Two routes matter because two kinds of customer exist. The emergency caller wants a number to press; the person planning a kitchen wants to type what they are thinking about at eleven at night and hear back tomorrow. A site that offers only one of those loses half of them.
Booking runs against your genuine availability, so a slot that is gone stops being offered. Nobody gets a confirmation for a time you cannot make.
What happens to a lead after it arrives?

Why response time decides more than the marketing does
In most local trades the job goes to the first credible reply rather than the best business. A customer with water coming through a ceiling has messaged three companies and will book whoever answers, so an inquiry sitting unseen for four hours is usually an inquiry lost, regardless of how good the site that captured it was.
That is why every quote request and booking sends you an email alert as it arrives, as well as waiting in your dashboard. You can find out without logging in, and nothing is lost if an email is delayed.
It is also why the Monday report opens with what came in rather than a chart. One email, what arrived, what was done, and the single decision that needs you.
What it will not tell you
It will not tell you where a phone call came from. A customer who searched, saw your number in the map results and rang it never touched the website, and we would rather say that than attribute it to ourselves. The same goes for walk-ins, word of mouth and anyone who found you somewhere we cannot see.
The results screen also refuses to show a win rate until at least five inquiries have been decided, because a percentage built on two is a number that misleads rather than informs.
We do not track your position in search either. Onelios builds the pages properly and reports what arrived; it will never tell you a ranking moved, because it does not measure them.
What does it cost?

An email alert goes out as each quote request or booking is submitted, and the request is also saved in your leads inbox, so you still see it if an email is delayed or filtered. You do not have to log in to find out.
Can I reply from my phone?
Yes. Each lead has one-tap buttons to call, message or email, which open your own phone or mail app with the details filled in. Onelios does not send text messages itself.
Does it track which leads turned into work?
You move each one through New, Contacted, Won and Lost. The results screen summarizes it, though it will not show a win rate until at least five inquiries have been decided — a percentage built on two misleads.
Will it tell me where my leads came from?
For anything that touched the website, yes. For a phone call placed straight from a search result, no — that never reached us, and we would rather say so than credit ourselves with it.
Does it do cold outreach or buy email lists?
